The Africa Social Impact Summit (ASIS) Deal Room aims to identify and showcase high-potential mid-stage enterprises driving measurable social and economic impact across Africa. Selected businesses will gain access to curated investor matchmaking, visibility, strategic partnerships, and potential catalytic funding opportunities during the Africa Social Impact Summit. This deal room is managed by the African Venture Philanthropy Alliance (AVPA) and supported by the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA). Applications are open to businesses operating within the following sectors:

• Agriculture & Food Systems
• Healthcare & Health Innovation
• Climate Solutions, Renewable Energy & Clean Technology
• Education & Edtech

General Eligibility Criteria:

To be selected, your business must:

• Have been operational for at least 3 years, moved beyond the pilot phase, and are demonstrating operational traction, scalability, and measurable impact.
• Have a minimum annual revenue of NGN 60 million (or equivalent in local currency) for each of the last three (3) financial years.
• Be headquartered in Africa OR have significant operations and measurable impact within African markets (preference may be given to businesses operating across multiple African countries or underserved communities).

Selection Process

Stage 1: Administrative Screening
Verification of eligibility and completeness of application.

Stage 2: Technical Evaluation
Review by AVPA and partner evaluation committee against scoring criteria.

Stage 3: Investment Readiness Assessment
Shortlisted businesses may undergo interviews and due diligence review.

Stage 4: Final Selection
Selected enterprises will be invited to participate in the ASIS Deal Room.
